Testimonials

"Since 2008 I have had an ongoing relationship with ArtWorks!, since completing an internship toward a degree in Art Education I have volunteered in children's craf events, the gallery, as well as other various events.  In return I have gained invaluable experience as well as opportunities to show my artwork in a professional gallery spance.  I have been an Artist mentor in their Teen Artist Internship Program for three years, taught a drawing class, and am now teaching a painging class at an assisted living facility through ArtWorks!.  ArtWorks! is an invaluable recource facility for artists, searving as part of the local artilst community, set in the heart of the historic district of New Bedford."

"Artworks is an orginization ive always wanted to be a part of. After having a great experience in the Teen Artist Internship Program in 2008.  I loved how friendly and knowledgeable the entire staff was. Being an artist I love engaging in gallery events and talking with the community about art. Volunteering gave me the oppurtunity to do just that. In this past year I've learned how to successfully put together an art exhibit, how to sell art, and what local artists are creating around us. I have throughly enjoyed volunteering and will continue to do so. It is always a blast here, the exhibits are always new and exciting and so is the staff ."
