Background:
 

 

The Children’s Advocacy Center (CAC) is a child focused agency where child victims and their non-offending caregivers go when there is an investigation because of allegations of abuse. The child victim and their family receive support from CAC staff and referrals to community services to help the family and victim begin the healing process.

Ongoing Volunteer Opportunities:

Volunteers greet families upon their arrival at the CAC to help make them comfortable and to acquaint them with the CAC.
In addition, volunteers are needed for answering phones, and administrative assistance such as filing, copying, and data entry and to help with general cleaning. The CAC also needs volunteers to help with various fundraising events throughout the year.
