Testimonials
"I decided to paint the windows at the Boys & Girls Club for the holidays because at the time I was stifled with stress and I knew the fasted way to shift my fear and doubt would be to give something to someone and to use a gift I love which is painting. As I climbed up and down the ladder getting paint and thinking about getting paint and what I would paint it released a block. It became an experience where in that moment giving and receiving were on both sides of the service."

"Volunteering for peace works was an uplifting experience. I believe that taking the extra time on my hands to do something positive was a great thing. I'm honored to have spent my time working with Colleen Millett for the Peace Works! My experience also has changed my perspective on how a day off should be spent. Volunteering for the program has made me realize how a little time spent doing something good leaves such a good feeling. Also it set a good example for the younger children in which look up to me. I am greatful for the opportunity to have volunteered for Peace Works and would be more then willing to do so again.
